Division of Data & Analytics is saving money when implementing concept ideas

Saving money is an integral component of VTTI’s Division of Data & Analytics (DDA). Typically, automobile manufacturers undergo a comprehensive process in creating prototypes, investing tremendous financial resources throughout various stages. DDA can assist in this process through their access to naturalistic driving data and extensive servers. In the words of division director Michelle Chaka, “We can test and answer many of the questions that may cost more money earlier in the process so that manufacturers can understand the feature they are trying to design and what that feature will experience in the real world.”

As a result, DDA can help bring down product costs because they are adept at helping manufacturers understand any issues that they encounter early in the design cycle. Companies, through their collaboration with VTTI, will have the ability to consider more cost-efficient features related to safety and protecting the environment.
