VTTI’s Division of Technology Development and Deployment (DTDD) is intimately connected with the infrastructure that supports research that saves lives. Resources built by DTDD such as the Data Acquisition System and the Scientific Data Warehouse enhance VTTI’s capability to effectively store and analyze data that is critical to this effort.
Division director Zeb Bowden stated that the link between his division’s work at VTTI and preventing fatalities has become clearer than ever in the last few years.
“We build systems that enable our researchers to collect and analyze driving data. The better we can build these systems and improve the infrastructure on which they operate, the larger our impact will be. This is our role in saving lives and reducing driving-related injuries.”
