Youssef Bichiou, Research Associate

Center for Sustainable Mobility

Youssef Bichiou is a research associate in the Center of Sustainable Mobility (CSM) at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI). He has experiences in the areas of traffic modeling and control, vehicle dynamics, transportation planning and optimization and driving simulation.

Dr. Bichiou participated in several research projects including: Traveler Response Architecture using Novel Signaling for Network Efficiency in Transportation (TRANSNET), Developing an Eco-Cooperative Automated Control System (Eco-CAC), Development of Driving simulation Scenarios for occupational motor vehicle safety projects, Developing a Self-Driving Code of Practice for Dubai. And other projects related to modeling and analysis of transportation systems.

Dr. Bichiou is the author of several published papers and reports.
