Eric Glenn, B.S., serves as program manager for VTTI's National University Transportation Center (UTC) program, Safe-D. Mr. Glenn works with VTTI's executive director and division and center directors to craft and execute details of Safe-D programs, including ensuring deliverables are produced in accordance with grant requirements, interfacing with U.S. Department of Transportation personnel and other project sponsors, and coordinating with researchers to facilitate the research process. Mr. Glenn also works closely with VTTI's chief finance officer to carefully track the finances and schedules of Safe-D activities and lead reporting efforts by coordinating and compiling information gathered from each consortium university.

Mr. Glenn established VTTI's first diversity, equity, and inclusion committee—Road to Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (RIDE) —and currently serves as the committee chair. In this role, he has given talks on DEI topics and created an engagement survey for the Institute, and he continues to strive for a more equitable and inclusive work environment for all.

Previously, Mr. Glenn served as a senior research specialist in VTTI's Division of Vehicle, Driver, & System Safety for more than 4 years. During his time with DVDSS, he became versed in project development, human factors, experimental design, data collection, data analysis, and reporting on several public and proprietary projects. In this role, his primary research interest involved testing vehicle technologies, specifically those that prevent vehicular heatstroke in vulnerable populations.
