Erin Mabry is a senior research associate in VTTI’s Division of Freight, Transit, & Heavy Vehicle Safety. Dr. Mabry's research experience includes the effects of exercise on biological function, physical performance, and health outcomes. During her training at Virginia Tech, Dr. Mabry has assisted with large-scale research projects involving human subjects and contributed to all aspects of the research process, including: developing, writing, reviewing and critiquing research proposals, protocols and final reports; researching and writing literature reviews; recruiting research subjects; performing advanced statistical analyses and analyzing data; and writing and presenting research findings. Dr. Mabry has presented her work at numerous professional meetings for both health and transportation organizations, including the Transportation Research Board (TRB) International Conference on Commercial Driver Health and Wellness, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Sleep Apnea and Multi-modal Conference, the International Conference on Transport and Health, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), TRB Annual Meetings, the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine Annual Conference, the Institute of Industrial Engineers Annual Conference, and the International Conference on Managing Fatigue.
