Center for Sustainable Mobility

Dr. Kyoungho Ahn is a transportation researcher specializing in connected and automated vehicle (CAV) research, vehicle energy/fuel consumption and emission modeling, traffic flow study and simulation, and traffic data analysis. Over the past 20 years, he has developed and conducted extensive sustainable transportation research as a principal investigator, a co-principal investigator, and a faculty investigator. Dr. Ahn has authored/co-authored over 75 refereed publications, of which 35 are fully refereed journal publications. The publications were cited more than 4,000 times. Along with VTTI team members, he recently he developed an Eco-Cooperative Automated Control (Eco-CAC) system that was funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
