Erem Memisyazici, Senior Research Specialist

Erem Memisyazici is a Senior Research Specialist within the Division of Vehicle, Driver, & System Safety (DVDSS). He initially joined VTTI's Division of Data & Analytics in 2011 where he worked as a senior data reductionist. In that role he followed detailed research protocols directed at data collection, data download, data reduction, and data analysis using specialized human factors techniques and methods for naturalistic driving studies; coordinated and trained students; and screened and worked with human subjects.

Within DVDSS, Erem continues to work with human subjects in research efforts and focuses on pioneering safety initiatives aimed at in-vehicle data collection, data reduction and analysis, protocol development, graphics renderings for multiple projects and proprietary research technologies, and other research efforts related to heavy vehicles, light vehicles, motorcycles, e-scooters, and pedestrians. He takes pride in playing a role in researching safety efforts to make the driving experience safer for professional drivers, which ultimately leads to saving lives. He is a proud holder of a B.F.A. in visual arts and graphic design from Radford University.
