Student Opportunities

At VTTI, we are training the next generation of transportation professionals.

As experiential learning becomes a more formal part of the Virginia Tech experience, VTTI offers practical and applied opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to engage in real-world projects and leadership experiences with researchers and partner organizations. We also offer internships for students in various disciplines.

Student engagement has been an important part of the VTTI culture since the very beginning. Over the past 35 years, thousands of students have benefited from their involvement with VTTI, through research experience, internships, and service learning.
