Vicki Williams, Human Factors Engineer

Center for Automated Vehicle Systems: Motorcycle Research

Vicki Williams received B. S. and M.S. degrees from the College of Engineering (Industrial Engineering and Operations Research) at Virginia Tech, and is a Certified Professional Ergonomist. Vicki has been employed as a human factors engineer and consultant for various industrial corporations. Since 2001 she has worked for VTTI as a Senior Research Associate and Human Factors Engineer. Duties have included all phases of research, including literature review, protocol development, study design, data collection (in-vehicle and remote), data reduction, statistical analysis, and report writing. Vicki has been involved in a variety of projects (proprietary and non-proprietary) and workgroups within VTTI. Her research interests include all human factors aspects of transportation research, particularly light vehicle and motorcycle studies (both naturalistic and controlled experimental) and data analysis. Vicki is currently a member of the Center for Automated Vehicle Systems.
