Please mention you are a participant in the Visibility Symposium to receive this rate. Note: Rate may vary with changes to state per diem rates.

The Roanoke Regional Airport (ROA) (www.roanokeregionalairport.com) offers easy access to Blacksburg and the Inn at Virginia Tech. The airport is approximately 45 minutes away from scenic Blacksburg.

Roanoke Regional Airport has convenient connections through domestic and international airports in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, and Charlotte.

    Service is $3 per person to Blacksburg. The bus operates Monday through Saturday at regularly scheduled times, and it drops off on the Virginia Tech campus at the Squires Student Center. Visit the website for the exact route and times.

Services available include shuttle and private car. Reservations in advance are required, offers 24 hour service.

  • Shuttle: $30 per person to Blacksburg. The shuttle stops at The Inn at Virginia Tech, Holiday Inn, and Donaldson Brown.
  • Private Car: $72 per person to Blacksburg. Car will take passenger anywhere in Blacksburg.
